I'm Dr. Anjali Trivedi,  Scientist-E at the Internationally renowned research institute, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences, operating under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. My work stands at the fascinating intersection of Earth's paleoclimate history and its uncertain future. 

My research focuses on palaeoecology, palaeoclimatology, and vegetation modeling, with a particular emphasis on the tropical, Himalayan and Ganga Plain regions. Through my work, I explore the intricate relationships between ancient ecosystems, past climate patterns, and human civilisations, seeking to bridge the gap between Earth's history and our present environmental challenges. 

By analyzing fossil pollen, phytoliths, and other palaeobotanical remains examining prehistoric climate changes, and reconstructing historical landscapes, I aim to uncover valuable insights that can inform our approach to current and future environmental stewardship.
